Massage (Aromatherapy/Swedish)

The benefits of massage are widely known and have been for thousands of years. Massage in one area has health benefits for the whole body. Blood pressure can be balanced, nervous stress reduced,  blood circulation improved, muscular tension (and therefore pain) reduced and aids cleansing of waste products from the body. Massage can be mood and sleep enhancing and regulating,  and it can help you to feel like you can cope with life’s challenges.

I am a intuitive massage therapist using a combination of techniques and movements to  soothe nerves, relax muscles, break up tension knots and encourage detoxification. Essential oils are chosen, where appropriate, to enhance the desired effect of the massage.

You decide the effects desired from your treatment, be it soothing and relaxing or energising and cleansing, I tailor the session to your needs, working in tune with what I feel the physical body needs.

Standard sessions are 45 min or an hour but longer treatments can be planned to suit your needs.

Areas massaged in your treatment time can be choosen to suit you. Popular combinations are feet and back, hands and face or back neck and face.. the choice is yours.
